At serverloft you can choose between Linux and Windows as an OS for your server. You can choose between the Linux systems openSUSE, Ubuntu, Debian and CentOS, all free of charge.

Moreover, you may use Microsoft Windows for an additional monthly fee starting at 20 €/month. This offers you a choice between the familiar Windows environment and the practically unlimited scalability of Linux. Whatever OS you select is mostly a matter of taste. The practiced Linux user can get a well-engineered and flexibly applicable system with Debian, while openSUSE is suitable for beginners as well.

All OS come by request with a free full version of the control panel Plesk 10.x (excepting Debian), which allows you by means of a web interface to manage web space and e-mail addresses on your server in a simple way. The free Plesk version is limited to ten domains; versions for higher domain numbers are available at extra charge.

Additionally, we offer you 64Bit solutions with Linux. It must be pointed out, however, that precompiled 32Bit software does not necessarily run on those systems.

Plesk for Linux and Windows

The professional tool by Parallels may be included free of charge in all server offers if desired. With this release, Parallels takes control panels to a whole new level, but keeps up the valued stability, completeness, and user-friendliness. Automate and charge for traffic without losses, and give those services to your resellers as well. Add some applications to your own personalized user interface, while answering support requests and managing user sessions at the same time. Plesk 10.x for Windows is an important new Plesk release and is particularly designed to use the IIS security model to full extend. By restricting each single page in its own application pool, Plesk 10.x for Windows offers full support in the development of ASP.NET applications, while IIS6 runs in Worker Isolation Mode. Moreover, the software interface has been fully redesigned. The same look and usability of Microsoft Windows XP create an immediate feeling of familiarity in the user.
