The structure of a given cloud contains, in each case, a front-end, a default and a back-end block. Blocks are the uppermost structure level. Within the blocks groups are organized. Groups serve to give a better overview of the resources. You can create as many blocks as you wish between the front-end and back-end blocks.
Below the cloud area there is an Infobox containing detailed information about the selected element. Thus you can see statistics about the usage of a container. When you right-click on a particular element a context menu opens with numerous setup-options.
New elements can be added to the cloud via double click or dragging. The choice of available resources can be seen on the right-hand side.
The Cloud Structure in Detail:
Frontend:
You have the ability to activate a load balancer and create groups in the front-end area.
Cloud:
The cloud structure consists of blocks, groups and containers. A block contains various groups, which themselves are groups of various containers.
Container:
These are your virtual machines, which are comparable to physical servers in their function.
Appliances:
Appliances are virtual containers which are pre-configured for specific functions. You receive software-on-demand for your cloud with appliances.
Backend:
You can organize your storage and content delivery networks (CDN) in the back-end.
